I am a psychotherapist and bodyworker with a lifelong passion for art, creativity, spirituality and personal development. My formal training began in 2004, when I began studying at Shiatsu Australia (now EastWest College) and then later at the Australian Shiatsu College. My interest in the relationship between mind and body drew me towards counselling and I subsequently completed an Advanced Diploma of Counselling at the Phoenix Institute in Melbourne. My love of stories and their healing power has led me to undertake a Masters in Narrative Therapy and Community Work at the University of Melbourne.
In addition to being a therapist, I am an award-winning writer and poet, and a longtime explorer of shamanic, esoteric and ritual technologies. I also practise yoga and martial arts and am fascinated by human movement and human potential. All of these interests deeply inform my work.
My written work has appeared in a number of Australian journals in addition to Best Australian Poetry.
